KEENE SPEAKS TO POWER GENERATION LEADERS


ORLANDO, Florida -- Judd Keene, principal owner of Keene Communications, a Syracuse-based marketing communications agency, was a co-presenter at a recent meeting of marketing communications leaders in the power generation industries.

The presentation, entitled "The Power of Public Relations" was part of the annual PowerGen conference, held in Orlando.  Also presenting with Keene was Lela Katzman, principal owner of Full Spectrum Communications, a public relations firm based in Albany, New York.  The half-day seminar session focused on the importance of publicity in promoting a company’s products, services or employees, primarily with readers of power generation and industrial industry publications. An overview of public relations as an integral part of an effective marketing communications plan was outlined, including planning, publicity tools, timing of a message, trade and business press articles, press releases, photography, video and the use of the internet.
