When Dresser-Rand Company, a billion dollar joint venture between Dresser Industries and Ingersoll-Rand Company, sought to overhaul their major product line of centrifugal compressors for the oil, gas and petrochemical industries, Keene Communications developed the marketing communications program for the product launch. This program garnered Dresser-Rand an unprecedented volume of publicity in everything from trade journals to the Wall Street Journal.



VECTRA



From naming the product, to initial product publicity, to media relations and development of feature article opportunities throughout the power generation industry, Keene Communications was integral to the introduction of the VECTRA power turbine. A major component of the project was coordinating media relations at the major annual trade show in England.
